How do I export transactions from my bank?
Bunse builds your budget from a file of your transactions that you download from your bank's website or app. You don't need to connect Bunse to your bank: the file is read on your phone, and Bunse never uploads it anywhere.
Which file to download
Bunse reads CSVQIFOFXQFXQBO files. CSV is the most common. Bunse can't read PDF statements or Excel (.xls) files.
How much history
One month is enough to start. Three months or more is better. Bunse can then tell regular bills and subscriptions apart from one-off spending, and Insights has enough history to show trends straight away.

Bank not listed? Look for Export, Download transactions or Statements in your online banking, and choose CSV if it's offered. Tell us at hello@bunse.uk and we'll add a guide.
Downloaded it on a computer?
Many banks only let you export from their website. Once the file is on your computer, get it onto your phone however suits you: email it to yourself, AirDrop it to an iPhone, or save it to iCloud Drive, Google Drive or OneDrive. Then open Bunse, tap Import and choose the file.
